This free online community education session will explore the process of seeking a review of your fine by Revenue NSW or the Court, as well as highlighting the issues to consider before exercising your right to a review.
This will be valuable to all community workers and volunteers who assist people who have fines in NSW, including financial counsellors and student advocates.
Presenter: Sam Lee, is the Assistant Principal Solicitor at Redfern Legal with expertise in criminal law, public policy, litigation, law reform, campaign development, and civil litigation. She has played a key role in several law reform campaigns and strategic litigation cases, including those related to COVID fines, strip search laws, and issues concerning children and fines
