Free online session: Human Rights and Discrimination Complaints Against Police

This free online information sessions provides a practical overview of how discrimination and human rights laws apply to police conduct in NSW. 

We will explain when police actions may (and may not) fall within anti‑discrimination laws, the legal tests applicants must meet, and common barriers faced by people bringing discrimination complaints. 

The session will also explore gaps in legal protections and alternative accountability pathways.

This webinar is valuable for community workers, lawyers or advocates who assist members of the community who may experience discrimination from police.
